Easy Paleo Skillet Apple Crisp

Craving something sweet? Crush cravings with this Paleo friendly apple crisp. Only 5 ingredients and 2 simple steps.

Time: 30-40min

Ingredients and instruction: 

  • 1 diced organic apple

  • 1-2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • cinnamon

 *Sautee all ingredients in a pan for 5-8 minutes or until apples soften  

Crumble topping: 

  • 1/4 cup almond meal (you can make your own by blending a handful of almonds or any nuts)

  • 1/2 tbsp coconut sugar

  • Dash of sea salt and cinnamon

*Mix these ingredients together well  

Preheat oven to 375 F 

Place apple mixture into small cast iron skillet or oven safe dish

Top with almond flour crumble  

Drizzle with more honey and cinnamon if you want to add more sweetness  

Bake for 25-30 minutes and let cool for 10 minutes. Top with icecream and enjoy!
