OUR MISSION:

To deliver a more convenient way to eat a real foods diet while helping people reach their health and fitness goals.

 

At My Meal Prep, we accommodate special dietary needs and provide a convenient way to eat healthier meals without sacrificing flavor. We make great efforts to take part in a sustainable food, and take pride in sourcing local, organic and seasonal ingredients whenever possible. We only use properly raised animals: grass fed beef, organic chicken and turkey, cage free pastured eggs, and sustainable- wild caught fish. All of our menu options are gluten free and we never use inflammatory oils such as canola oil or vegetable oil. Everything is made fresh- from scratch, especially our dressings and marinades to avoid all hidden preservatives and fillers. Owner, Martine Acanfora, plans an entirely new and creative meal prep menu each week based on seasonality and customer feedback. This allows plenty of variety in menu options and makes eating healthy something to look forward to! We have been serving up healthy dishes and helping people reach their health + fitness goals for over 4 years giving us the experience, expertise, and recipes you need to succeed.



About the owner,

Martine graduated from Montclair State with her BA in Food Systems and an associate degree's in exercise science. She is a certified Pilates instructor through the classical Pilates education program, AFPA Certified Pilates Instructor, and NESTA Certified Sports Yoga instructor.

As a trainer and an avid fitness enthusiast, Martine has competed as a NPC bodybuilder in the figure division. She's also competed in Strongman and powerlifting competitions across the Tri-State area. This gives her a unique outlook on the needs, challenges, and results athletes and health seekers are looking for. Her commitment to healthy living doesn't stop at fitness though.

Martine has over ten years preparing healthy delicious foods learning from Natural Chefs, caterers, holistic health practitioners. She founded My Meal Prep in 2015 to help busy individuals attain their health + fitness goals without sacrificing flavor (goodbye plain grilled chicken breasts and broccoli!) + How does it work?

To get started place your order online by the order deadline. Pick your size (standard or large) and the number of meals you want delivered. A form will pop up that allowes you to tell us more about your diet and/or custom macro requirements if any. After you place an order, an email will be sent to you on Thursday to select your own meals. Your meals will be ready for pick up Sunday evening.

+ Do you offer shipping outside of NJ? Do you delivery to NYC?

We don’t ship our meals because we believe in keeping everything fresh and local. Freezing our meals and shipping would lower the quality. We currently only offer delivery to NJ & NYC. For NYC, please choose NYC shipping/delivery upon delivery. Please note: delivery days to NYC may vary.

+ How many days per week do you offer pick up or delivery?

We cook everything fresh on Sunday and deliver on the same day. We only have one delivery date but you can email us to inquire about mid week meal prep availability.

To ensure food availability please place your order by Thursday at 3pm for Sunday PM delivery. Specific items may not be available if order is placed after the deadline.

+ When will my order be deliveried?

Deliveries will arrive between 7-9:30pm. Please let us know if you will not be home to receive your delivery or if you have other instructions for us.

+ When will my order be ready for pick up?

You can pick up your order Sunday between 6:30-8pm. Please always contact us before arriving to ensure your order is ready. Let us know when you arrive and we will bring it out to you car.

+ What if I can’t be home for Sunday PM delivery?

+ Do you provide the nutrition facts for each meal?

Although we don’t provide the calories for every single meal, we design the meals to fit within specific calorie ranges for each meal size (standard or large). We can also measure out custom macros if needed just include them within the chefs notes. Please refer to this chart for our meals nutrition breakdown.

+ Can you accomodate me if I don't eat meat or dairy?

Yes! When placing your order select either vegan or vegaterian after choosing your size and # of meals.

+ Where can I find the daily specials for the week??

Every Wednesday the new menu is posted on our [Instagram][3]. The specials are also sent out Thursday morning in our newsletter and again in list form to your inbox after you place an order.

+ How do I pick my own meals?

After placing an order online, you will get an email with that weeks menu. You can simply respond to that email with what you would like to order.

+ How do I store my meals?

For questions regarding reheating, and food storing please refer to our [Food Safety PDF][4]. Food is freshly prepared on Sunday and available for pick up or delivery Sunday evening through Monday morning.

+ Can I use my own custom macros? What if I have special dietary restrictions?

Yes! Just let us know in the notes along with your order.

+ Can I order bulk trays of food?

Yes! Send us an email for further pricing and options.

+ What if my order is wrong?

+ Do you have a rewards or refferal program?

We offer an affiliate program as a way for influencers to earn free meal or cash back when someomne orders with their unique code. We also offer a refferal based loyalyty program for our customers to earn free meals whne someone uses their name when ordering in the "refferal name" section.
